Stoked to be back in
Southern California

Orange County, San Francisco, Honolulu, Oceanside, Honolulu (again) and now back in coastal Orange County.

Growing up in California’s skateboard scene, I left my mark at Thrasher magazine with the iconic flame logo. With all the irreverence of skaters, my team saw the digital revolution coming, and helped Thrasher toss out manual production to become one of the first publications designed on computers.

Then, I sailed across the South Pacific and landed jobs in New Zealand as well as at Leo Burnett Connaghan and May in Sydney. Several years later, a working sabbatical in Honolulu turned into an art direction job at H3O Hawaiian Heavywater Industries, Inc. and Info Grafik—providing a living in Hawai‘i.

In Hawai‘i my skills served recent clients including Hilton Hawaiian Village,  International Market Place, nomnom stores, Hele gas, Matson, Hawai‘i Visitors and Convention Bureau, Hawaiian Airlines, and new business ventures.

Now firmly relocated back to Southern California, I stay active by skateboarding, outrigger canoe paddling, travel, and joyfully fulfilling my duties as the family chef and unpaid “Lyft-driver” for the family.

I believe my best work is yet to come.
